Our Qualifications

          Melinda Olbert is an Investment Adviser Representative with ING Financial Partners, Inc.  Melinda joined ING in January of 2006.  From 1997 through 2005, Melinda was an advisor and branch office manager with American Express Financial Advisors (now known as "Ameriprise Financial").  Prior to joining American Express, Melinda worked as an attorney in Oklahoma City for a private law firm and then for the Oklahoma Insurance Department.

         Melinda graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Political Science in 1985.  She graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1988.  She currently holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 66 security registrations, as well as insurance licenses.  She conducts business in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, California, and Colorado.

        Melinda and her husband Mark were married in 1989.  Their sons Taylor, Cale, and Cameron keep them very busy.  In her spare time, Melinda enjoys reading, skiing, bicycling, watching sports (especially her kids!), church activities, and travel.
